About The Position

Fox News 32 is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Per Diem Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, solution-oriented, and a team player, with the flexibility to work various shifts on an as-needed basis, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and overnights. The ability to shoot video is a plus but not required, along with a willingness to learn other broadcast-related skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in non-linear editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects; familiarity with iNews or similar newsroom applications.
• Proven news editorial judgment and broadcast experience.
• Excellent time management and the ability to collaborate effectively with producers under pressure.
• Capable of taking direction, working independently, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Must have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts (weekends, holidays, and overnights) as required by the news cycle.
• Must have photojournalist knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to shoot video is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create broadcast-quality content quickly in a live environment with a keen eye for detail.
• Transform raw video into news packages, features, and show opens.
• Develop graphics that enhance the news story.
• Operate efficiently on non-linear edit platforms like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
• Prioritize assignments and adhere to strict deadlines.
