About The Position

KRCR is looking for a dynamic full-time Anchor to join our #1 team in Northern California! In addition to being an outstanding journalist with a great personality, you need to be a team leader for our outstanding weekday morning newscast. Our anchors are leaders who create content and help in the planning and execution of our newscasts. Daily responsibilities may include feature reporting, editorial duties, or basic newsgathering assignments. A competitive passion to win and openness to innovation are mandatory! Our winning candidate will be someone who embraces social media and knows how to consistently engage with the audience. Collaboration and mentorship are a big part of this role!

Requirements

• One year of on-air experience at a commercial TV or college TV station preferred
• Strong live and field skills
• Exceptional written communication skills using a conversational writing style
• Strong editorial judgment and a proven ethical foundation
• Link to online demo reel must be included with application
