About The Position

The audio revolution is here – and iHeart is leading it! iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, reaches 90% of Americans every month. We are looking for a very experienced news anchor to provide top and bottom of the hour newscasts. This high profile position will cover news events (in-house) as needed, breaking news and anchor some local reports. Shifts are likely evening to late night hours. iHeartMedia is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and is looking for teammates passionate about what we do!

Requirements

• Extensive news radio experience.
• Polished on air delivery.
• Proven track record of solid news work.
• Strong journalism skills.
• Highly experienced news writing background.
• Ability to work in a fast paced but flexible environment.

• Anchor top and bottom of the hour national newscasts.
• Anchor multiple market local newscasts.
• Breaking News coverage.
• General newsroom responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
