•$40 - $55•Onsite

About The Position

A family in McLean, Virginia, is seeking an experienced daytime newborn care specialist to provide attentive, hands-on care for their son, who is due in early December 2026. The temporary position lasts 12–16 weeks, with a start date around December 6, 2026. The family is open to a live-in or live-out arrangement; live-in accommodations include a private bed and bath. Local candidates are preferred, but the family is willing to relocate the right person. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., five to six days per week. One parent works from home and the other has a hybrid schedule, so a parent will often be in the home. The specialist will work alongside other household staff and coordinate with an overnight newborn care provider through written notes and texts, as their shifts do not overlap. The role focuses exclusively on the baby and baby-related tasks.
