About The Position

Gator Ford is seeking a motivated, business-minded professional to join their expanding Commercial Sales Division as a New Vehicle Auto Commercial Sales Professional. This role is designed for a driven individual who excels at building business relationships, understands the needs of commercial vehicles, can sell effectively on the retail front, and is passionate about helping companies expand their fleets. The New Vehicle Auto Commercial Sales Professional will concentrate on cultivating relationships with small businesses, contractors, fleet managers, and commercial clients to offer customized vehicle solutions. This position integrates business development, consultative sales, and superior customer service to foster growth within the dealership's commercial vehicle sector. The company has over 5,000 fleet customers, offering unlimited income potential.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience (automotive sales or B2B sales experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of commercial/fleet vehicles and business client needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own pipeline.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ford experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and commercial clients.
  • Identify client needs and present vehicle solutions that support their operations.
  • Prospect new business through networking, client list calling, and community engagement.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Work with the dealership’s finance and service departments to create complete solutions for customers.
  • Stay informed on manufacturer incentives, fleet programs, and industry trends.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales goals for commercial vehicles.
  • Provide follow-up and ongoing support to ensure long-term client retention.
  • Follow the Dealership sales process for Business customer transactions.
