About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused New Truck Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves assisting customers in selecting the right trucks and commercial vehicles, building strong customer relationships, and working through the sales process from inquiry to closing. You will collaborate with senior sales representatives and management, conduct market research, and handle administrative tasks to ensure accurate record-keeping. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer-Focused: A passion for providing excellent customer service and helping others find solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with computers, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, eager to learn, and dedicated to achieving sales targets.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework preferably a degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.
  • State Sales License.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting the right trucks and commercial vehicles for their needs, including heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
  • Learn about the features, specifications, and benefits of the vehicles and equipment we offer in order to effectively communicate this to potential buyers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with customers from the initial inquiry through to the closing of the sale.
  • Help process quotes, orders, and financing options as needed.
  • Work alongside senior sales representatives and management to meet sales goals and improve sales strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to identify sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
