New Nurse Graduate-RN
About The Position
The New Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care at a Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in-center hemodialysis or hospital services unit as part of a patient care team. The role focuses on safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease. Dialysis experience is not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply and receive up to 12 weeks of paid training, including classroom sessions, job shadowing, and individual skills training with a preceptor. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week. In-center nurses have Sundays off, and there are no overnight shifts. DCI is a nonprofit dialysis provider that emphasizes individualized, holistic kidney care and supports its care teams through training, research, and a range of treatment options.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assess their condition, and communicate changes to physicians and families.
- Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, with appropriate documentation.
- Administer and chart prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
- Assist with medication inventory maintenance.
- Contribute to training new staff members as directed.
- Complete additional tasks as requested.
