New Nurse Graduate (RN)
About The Position
The New Nurse Graduate provides specialized nursing care in one of Dialysis Clinic, Inc.’s in-center hemodialysis or hospital services units as part of a patient care team. Registered nurses help ensure safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient. No prior dialysis experience is required, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. DCI provides up to 12 weeks of paid training, including classroom sessions, job shadowing, and one-on-one skills training with a preceptor. Potential full-time schedules vary between four 10-hour shifts and three 12-hour shifts and are set upon hiring. In-center nurses have Sundays off and do not work overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Accredited nursing degree.

Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assess changes, and communicate them to physicians and families.
- Prepare dialysis machines and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching, including relevant documentation.
- Administer and chart prescribed medications under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
- Assist with medication inventory maintenance.
- Contribute to training new staff members as directed.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
