At the Great Falls Clinic Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing high quality care and exceptional service to our patients. Here you will find excellent nurse to patient ratios. This allows us to provide more personalized care and create stronger connections. You will discover a culture of teamwork, compassion, and an opportunity for professional growth. The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe, effective, compassionate patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses provide care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patient populations. The new nursing graduate residency program provides supportive integration from student nurse to professional nurse into the healthcare system according to the American Nurse Association and organizational scope and standards of practice. The program is for any registered nurse with less than 1 year of practice. Our residency program offers potential placement for the medical/surgical department, surgical services, emergency department and the clinic setting. The program allows a combination of organizational orientation/enculturation, online, didactic, simulations, skill set competency, clinical rotations in department(s) and practice-based learning to assist in creating confidence and competence during orientation (in their novice RN roles). The new graduate nurse is willing to learn professional development in communication, teamwork, and resilience with continuous feedback and evaluation. The Nursing Residency is 6-12 months dependent on specialty residency program.
