New Graduate Respiratory Therapist - Full-time

About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist provides compassionate respiratory care to critically ill patients receiving extended healing and recovery after intensive care. The role involves evaluating patients, recommending treatment plans, and caring for patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. The therapist also supports patients and families through teaching and counseling and contributes to continuous quality improvement. The employer provides an extensive orientation program for new graduates, a clinical ladder program, tuition reimbursement, continuing education, and a student debt benefit program. The position is based in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, with day and night schedules available.

Requirements

Possess an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
Provide proof of graduation: college transcript or diploma is preferred, or high school transcript or diploma or GED.
Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
Hold current state licensure.
Obtain ACLS within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of related experience is preferred.
College transcript or diploma as proof of graduation is preferred.
