About The Position

Serving the needs of Garfield Heights and the Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County, Marymount Hospital is an acute care, faith-based hospital. Here, caregivers are guided by the Christian values of service, compassion, dignity and respect and live by the mission of providing world-class healthcare. As a part of our team, you will build a rewarding, lifelong career in a diverse and welcoming environment. Marymount Hospital’s 4th floor team earned the AMSN Prism Award, a highly selective recognition of exceptional nursing practice and patient-centered care. The 4th floor includes three wings, 4 East, 4 West, and 4 South (Med/Surg and Telemetry), caring for a broad mix of medical and surgical patients, including those needing telemetry monitoring. Each wing has 12 beds, with most rooms private, and serves as the hospital’s dedicated home for peritoneal dialysis patients (a specialty admitted only to our units). Supported by many tenured nurse preceptors, you’ll build strong core skills and a standout foundation for your next step, including travel nursing and specialty roles, while delivering an exceptional patient experience through clear communication, comfort, and dignity. Day to day, you will develop a strong med-surg and telemetry foundation while caring for patients with complex needs and learning the focused workflows that support peritoneal dialysis. With guidance from tenured preceptors, you will strengthen head-to-toe assessment, prioritization, and patient education skills, and gain experience that transfers well to travel nursing and specialty paths. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment.
