About The Position

Memorial Hermann is seeking dedicated and compassionate new graduate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their Nurse Residency Program for the Fall 2026 cohort. This program is designed to support new nurses in their transition to professional practice, offering a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum focused on developing skills in leadership, quality outcomes, and professional role. The program utilizes the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ curriculum and Memorial Hermann's Clinical Development programs, employing a cohort-focused model for a supportive learning environment. The objective is to guide new graduates from an advanced beginner level to becoming exceptional nurses, investing in their professional future and the future of healthcare.

Requirements

• GPA of 3.0 or higher in an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current Texas RN license or temporary permit.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
• Graduation by August 2026.
• External applicants require a BSN, with exceptions for Northeast, Sugar Land, Southeast & Pearland locations which accept ADN.
• Specify unit of choice in application.
