About The Position

New Graduate RNs are eligible for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus. Experienced RNs (2+ years acute care) are eligible for up to a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus. The pay range for this position is $36.00–$49.16/hour, with gross pay ranging from $432.00–$589.92 per 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime paid in accordance with applicable law). This role is within the Medical Surgical Unit. The Medical-Surgical Unit offers a strong clinical foundation, exposing nurses to a wide variety of patient conditions and helping them develop critical thinking, time management, and patient care skills. Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital policies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
  • Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and other department-specific clinical interventions.
  • Operate and monitor clinical equipment appropriate to the assigned department.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
