About The Position

The Porter maintains the dealership's high customer service standards by staging vehicles, organizing lot inventory, maintaining service lane workflow, and assisting guests. The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, moving vehicles safely, and performing light detailing or shop upkeep tasks.

The Porter keeps new, pre-owned, and service parking lots organized according to Toyota presentation standards; ensures staged vehicles go to Quick Lube for battery testing and fluid top-offs; and transports vehicles to local overflow lots, vendors, or body shops as needed. The role also includes keeping the service drive and dealership exterior clean, clearing litter, sweeping walkways, organizing tools, and assisting technicians with shop cleanup and trash removal during downtime.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean, acceptable driving record, required for dealership vehicle insurance.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet outdoors for 8 or more hours per shift in North Texas heat or seasonal cold.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug testing.

• Ability to drive a manual/stick-shift transmission.
