About The Position
Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus offer a rare opportunity to build and lead a neurosurgery and endovascular program in one of the fastest-growing corridors in El Paso. You will join a well-resourced system with two strategically positioned campuses — a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center — supported by a 12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite. This is a program-building role designed for a physician who is ready to make a lasting clinical impact and establish themselves as a leader in an expanding market. Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board eligible or board certified
- Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology, or endovascular neurology alone
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a neurosurgery and endovascular program.
- Perform Endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine procedures, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation.
- Handle approximately 100 aneurysm cases per year.
- Participate in Endovascular neurology call 10–15 days per month.
- Participate in general neurosurgery call approximately 1:4.
