About The Position

Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus offer a rare opportunity to build and lead a neurosurgery and endovascular program in one of the fastest-growing corridors in El Paso. You will join a well-resourced system with two strategically positioned campuses — a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center — supported by a 12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite. This is a program-building role designed for a physician who is ready to make a lasting clinical impact and establish themselves as a leader in an expanding market. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board eligible or board certified
  • Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates trained in endovascular neurology alone will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a neurosurgery and endovascular program.
  • Perform endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine procedures, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation.
  • Participate in mechanical thrombectomy.
  • Provide endovascular neurology call 10–15 days per month.
  • Provide general neurosurgery call approximately 1:4.
