About The Position

Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery is a physician-led neurosurgical practice in Sherman, Texas, with its own ambulatory surgery center. The practice cares for patients with spine and neurosurgical conditions across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. It is a small, close-knit team that supports one another. The practice is adding a part-time hourly advanced practice provider to its clinic team. The position starts at 20 or more hours per week and works alongside an experienced PA and the neurosurgeon to share clinic workload and provide attentive patient care. The role is primarily clinic-based, with clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some surgery days may start earlier or run later. There is no hospital call and only very rare weekend coverage. As patient volume grows, the position may move to full-time salaried employment. New graduates are welcome. Training is provided directly by the neurosurgeon and an experienced PA, with real-time clinic feedback, case reviews, and graduated responsibility. The provider may expand into surgical first assisting and a broader clinical role as skills and practice volume grow.
