About The Position

Join Intermountain Health and help create a Neuroscience Center of Excellence at Lutheran Medical Center, building on an established continuum of care for brain and spine patients. The role supports a neurosurgeon’s practice at Wheat Ridge Clinic and assists with surgical cases at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with call coverage approximately 7–8 days per month, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position serves a growing primary-care referral base within Intermountain Health Medical Group. Prior neurosurgery and/or orthopedic spine surgery advanced practice provider experience is identified as ideal. It requires precise manual dexterity, frequent computer use and typing, and physical activity that may include transferring and ambulating patients; lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling supplies, equipment, and gurneys; navigating busy rooms; and standing for extended periods. The listed hourly range is $57.33–$88.47, with the actual rate dependent on experience. The role is located at Wheat Ridge Clinic in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or ability to obtain one.
BLS certification.
DEA registration.
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
Ability to meet the described visual, auditory, communication, manual dexterity, computer-use, and physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities
