About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in Neurosurgery at an inpatient facility in Seattle, WA. The role involves providing clinical coverage and participating in on-call shifts. The NP/PA will be responsible for rounding on assigned patients, managing neurosurgery patients, and collaborating with attending neurosurgeons and the multidisciplinary team. The position offers a 4x10-hour shift schedule during the week and weekend call duties.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active WA License or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification

Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient Neurosurgery coverage including rounding on assigned patients.
- Respond to beeper call during weekend call shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 7a-7p).
- Manage Neurosurgery patients in an inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with attending Neurosurgeons and multidisciplinary team.
- Perform procedures as needed (first assist optional).
