About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Neurosurgeon to join its growing team at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The position includes onsite clinics in McHenry and Huntley, Illinois, and hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital. The physician will join a physician-led medical group that promotes physician leadership, wellness, and work-life balance. The role uses the EPIC electronic health record system and offers competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package. Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital is a 143-licensed-bed acute care teaching hospital with more than 600 physicians across 70 specialties. Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital, an extension of McHenry Hospital, is a 128-bed facility with more than 600 physicians across 70 specialties and access to a Level 2 Trauma Center, medical-surgical services, and a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit. The communities offer schools, parks, restaurants, and other amenities, with access to Chicago by car or commuter train. The position is listed at 40 hours per week and 1.0 FTE, on the day shift. Compensation is listed as $720,000 to $1,000,000 yearly.
