Physician: Emergency Medicine (Nocturnist) - McHenry and Huntley, IL
About The Position
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician to practice at McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley hospitals in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. The physician will provide clinical care in an innovative community hospital with advanced resources and technology as part of Northwestern Medicine’s integrated academic health system. Alongside clinical responsibilities, the physician will supervise and instruct advanced practice providers. The role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals, hospital privileges at the three locations, nurse and certified medical assistant support, and use of the EPIC electronic health system.
Requirements
- Active Illinois medical licensure and DEA.
- Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Graduate of a fully accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an Emergency Medicine residency.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical emergency medicine care.
- Supervise and instruct advanced practice providers.
