About The Position

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a full-time, overnight neuroradiologist for Tampa General Hospital. This academic position offers a 100% neuro case mix, with remote work capabilities. The schedule is 7 days on and 14 days off, with flexible starting hours. RAF collaborates with other divisions across Florida to provide an optimal study mix, focusing on trauma, stroke (including CT perfusion with RAPID software), oncology, dementia, movement disorders, and functional MRI. The role is affiliated with the University of South Florida, involving teaching residents and a neuroradiology fellow, with the potential for a faculty appointment. Dedicated didactic lectures are not required but welcomed. The practice emphasizes a team-based style, allowing collaboration with experienced subspecialists. An internal moonlighting program offers flexibility for remote work as desired.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
Residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in neuroradiology.
Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL.

Responsibilities

Staff the overnight shift at Tampa General Hospital.
Perform a full breadth of neuroradiology examinations, including trauma, stroke, oncology, dementia, movement disorders, and functional MRI.

Collaborate with an experienced team of subspecialists.
