This role involves providing care appropriate to the age of patients served, demonstrating knowledge of their physical and psychological needs. The technician will perform various EEG tests, including Routine, Long-term/Continuous, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and Ambulatory, as well as potentially other modalities like NCS/EMG, IONM, Autonomics, and/or EPs. Responsibilities include maintaining logs and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies, monitoring and communicating changes, and performing clerical duties such as scheduling and patient billing. The role also emphasizes shaping a culture of teamwork, positive morale, and customer service, investigating and resolving complaints, and supporting the training and evaluation of new personnel.
