About The Position
Piedmont Eastside is seeking a Neurophysiology Tech to join their Respiratory Department. This PRN position offers a fantastic career opportunity to contribute to transforming healthcare and providing patient-centered care. The Respiratory Department is dedicated to making a positive difference in every life they touch, utilizing Respiratory Driven Protocols, and offering opportunities for cross-training in EEGs, PFTs, and NICU care. The team consists of approximately 50 members, including a director, supervisor, and leads, typically operating with 7 people during the day and 6-7 at night. Patient ratios are determined by various factors, including volume and acuity.
Requirements
- High school graduate, some college preferred.
- Six (6) months of direct patient care experience preferred OR 2 years of non-patient care healthcare experience.
- CPR
Nice To Haves
- Obtain registry through ABRET in one area of neurodiagnostics or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPT preferred
- Experience with research and analysis of data preferred.
- Experience with editing collateral preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of diagnostic testing in the EEG Lab.
