The Neurophysiology Associate supports intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IOM) services across both the Operating Room and outpatient settings. This role performs standard neurodiagnostic procedures—including nerve conduction studies and evoked potentials—while working under the direct supervision of experienced neurophysiology staff and attending neurologists. As an integral member of the surgical team, the Neurophysiology Associate collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
