About The Position

We are seeking a Neurologist for a Locum Tenens position at an Inpatient Hospital in Richmond, IN. This role involves providing inpatient coverage and call from December 14-21, 2026, with potential for future coverage dates. The Neurologist will manage acute and complex neurologic conditions, provide stroke care including thrombolytic therapy, perform diagnostic testing, and document patient care in the Epic EMR system. Beeper call coverage is required.

Requirements

• Active Indiana Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency
• Flu and COVID vaccination required, or approved medical/religious exemption
• More than 2 years of experience
• Must be available for the exact December 14–21 coverage dates
• IMLC candidates not accepted

Nice To Haves

• Providers able to cover future dates are preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient Neurology coverage.
• Evaluate and manage acute and complex neurologic conditions.
• Provide stroke care, including thrombolytic therapy when clinically indicated.
• Perform required Neurology procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Provide call coverage and respond to callbacks as required.
• Complete provider order entry and document patient care in Epic.
• Enter worked hours through the Vemsta digital timesheet platform.
