About The Position

Desert Valley Medical Group in Victorville, California, is seeking a Neurologist to join its growing team. The role offers strong earning potential, practice support, and the opportunity to serve a community with significant need. The Neurologist reviews medical records, assesses neurological conditions, interprets medical data, and provides evidence-based opinions and recommendations. The schedule includes outpatient clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and inpatient coverage two weekends per month.

The estimated annual compensation, including estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $350,000 to $375,000. Final starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure. The role is full-time, day shift.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Active state medical license and good standing with relevant medical boards.
• Demonstrated expertise in neurology with clinical experience diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for medical record reviews and assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex medical information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of medical records, including patient histories, diagnostic tests, imaging results, and treatment plans, to assess neurological aspects of each case.
• Analyze and interpret medical data to identify neurological conditions, diseases, and injuries, and determine their impact on patient health and outcomes.
• Provide expert opinions and recommendations based on evidence-based medicine and current neurological guidelines.
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely in written reports.
• Provide outpatient clinic care Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Provide inpatient coverage two weekends per month.
