About The Position
Desert Valley Medical Group in Victorville, California, is seeking a Neurologist to join its growing team. The position offers strong earning potential, practice support, and the opportunity to serve a community in need. The role involves outpatient clinic work and inpatient coverage two weekends per month. The regular weekday schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Active state medical license in good standing with relevant medical boards.
- Clinical expertise and experience diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for medical record reviews and assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex medical information.
Responsibilities
- Review medical records, including patient histories, diagnostic tests, imaging results, and treatment plans, to assess neurological aspects of each case.
- Analyze and interpret medical data to identify neurological conditions, diseases, and injuries and determine their impact on patient health and outcomes.
- Provide expert opinions and recommendations based on evidence-based medicine and current neurological guidelines.
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely in written reports.
- Provide outpatient clinic services and inpatient coverage two weekends per month.
