About The Position
We are seeking a Neurologist for an outpatient general neurology position within a hospital-employed setting. This role involves providing comprehensive neurological care in a clinic setting, with opportunities for subspecialty focus in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology. The position is part of an expansion of the Neurosciences team at a 420-bed facility with Level 2 Trauma designation.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Willingness to complete EMG/NCV
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology preferred
- EMG/NCV (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient neurological care in a hospital-based clinic setting
- Evaluate and manage a wide range of general neurology conditions
- Perform or interpret neurodiagnostic testing
- Collaborate with specialists in neurointerventional, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation
- Participate in a multidisciplinary neurosciences program with academic opportunities through ACOM
