About The Position

Neurologist Patients with complex brain, spine, and nerve disease need a physician who can turn uncertainty into a clear plan. In this role, you will own diagnosis, treatment, and follow-through for people whose function, independence, and quality of life depend on timely neurologic care. You will practice at the center of a multidisciplinary team, where your judgment changes the course of stroke, seizure, neurodegenerative, and neuromuscular disease.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with board certification or active eligibility in neurology.
  • Unrestricted state medical license, or eligibility to obtain one before start.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage stroke, epilepsy, headache, dementia, movement, and neuromuscular disorders.
  • Current competence in neurologic examination and in using EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging to change treatment—not merely to order tests.
  • Clear communication with patients, families, and referring clinicians under time pressure.
  • Commitment to timely documentation, team-based care, and measurable access standards.

Responsibilities

  • Establish accurate diagnoses for new and complex referrals, using history, exam, and targeted testing so most patients leave the first visit with a working diagnosis and a next step.
  • Start and adjust evidence-based treatment plans that reduce avoidable admissions, emergency returns, and delays in disease-modifying therapy.
  • Lead acute and outpatient decision-making with hospitalists, neurosurgery, rehab, and primary care so handoffs are complete and care stays coordinated.
  • Interpret and act on EEG, EMG, and imaging findings in collaboration with specialists, reserving advanced testing for questions that change management.
  • Build lasting patient relationships through clear counseling on prognosis, risk, and treatment choices, measured by adherence, comprehension, and follow-up completion.
  • Improve clinic and consult throughput without sacrificing exam quality, keeping access, documentation, and communication standards consistently met.
  • Mentor advanced practice clinicians and trainees so the service can safely expand capacity while maintaining diagnostic rigor.
