About The Position
Harlingen Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a growing neurology service. This role offers a mix of inpatient consults and outpatient neurology with strong referral support. Harlingen Medical Center is a full-service acute care hospital serving the Rio Grande Valley. The hospital is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and continued growth of specialty services.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for or current Texas medical license
- DEA license or eligibility
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of neurological conditions
- Provide inpatient consult services and outpatient clinic care
- Collaborate with emergency medicine, hospitalists, and specialty providers
- Participate in call coverage as assigned
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Comply with hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards
