About The Position

Seeking a Neurologist for a Locum Tenens position in Petoskey, MI. This is an inpatient role requiring clinical coverage and 24-hour call. The coverage period is from May 11, 2026, ongoing, with specific dates needing to be filled throughout May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December 2026. The typical shift schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with call being 24 hours (8:00 AM to 8:00 AM) including nights and weekends. The patient volume is expected to be 6-8 patients per day. Procedures include radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, thrombolytic therapy, EEG reads, brain death exams, and evoked potentials. The facility uses Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage for neurology patients.
• Participate in a 24-hour call schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Read EEGs.
• Conduct Brain Death Examinations.
• Perform Evoked Potentials.
