About The Position

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's Department of Radiology seeks a PhD scientist for a tenure-eligible research-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will join the Division of Radiology Research and help expand the institution's neuroimaging research enterprise, with priorities including neuroscience, brain development, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental and behavioral health. The role calls for an accomplished investigator with advanced neuroimaging expertise, impactful scholarship, multidisciplinary collaboration experience, and extramural research funding or strong potential to obtain sustained funding. The candidate will build an independent research program and conduct innovative investigations into brain development, physiology, pathophysiology, and/or function in health or disease. They will advance neuroimaging acquisition and analysis methods, collaborate across Cincinnati Children's and partner institutions, and contribute to translational research supporting understanding of neurological and neurodevelopmental diseases and personalized pediatric care. The position also includes mentoring trainees and research personnel, departmental and institutional service, and educational contributions. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative pediatric research environment with opportunities to partner with faculty in Radiology and investigators across Cincinnati Children's and the University of Cincinnati. Approximate, negotiable effort distribution is 90% research, 5% administration, 5% teaching, and 0% clinical.
