About The Position
The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, starting in Fall 2027. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will conduct empirical research in health policy, healthcare management, health services research, demography, political science, sociology, health economics, public policy, or a related field. The position also includes teaching and mentoring master's and doctoral students.
Requirements
- Hold a doctoral degree by the start of the appointment.
- Have a well-developed research plan.
- Have publications in peer-reviewed journals or the potential to publish in them.
- Be able to compete effectively for extramural funding.
Responsibilities
- Conduct empirical research in a relevant field.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring master's and doctoral students.
