About The Position

Legacy Medical Group Neurology is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join their team. A vascular neurologist or experienced Neurohospitalist is preferred, but candidates from other subspecialties with exceptional qualifications will be considered. The department provides Inpatient Neurology coverage across six Legacy Hospitals in the Portland-Vancouver metro area. The neurology outpatient team manages four clinics with sub-specialty programs. Legacy Health System is a local non-profit with five certified stroke centers in and around Portland, OR, holding the largest market share for neurology in the metropolitan area. Their hospitals feature a comprehensive stroke center, four primary stroke centers, an extensive neurosurgery program, a neurocritical care unit, a cardiothoracic surgery program, a Level I trauma center, and an internal medicine residency program.

Requirements

Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of an accredited residency in Neurology.
Board Certified in Neurology.
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
BLS certification (ACLS may substitute for BLS).

Nice To Haves

Vascular neurologist or experienced Neurohospitalist preferred.
Candidates from other subspecialties with exceptional qualifications will be considered.
Experience with or interest in telemedicine desirable.
