About The Position

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital is seeking a motivated, fellowship-trained neurologist for an employed position in a busy, well-respected practice with a strong referral base and access to the resources of a robust health system network. The role is primarily inpatient, with some outpatient work, and offers a 7-on/7-off schedule. The call structure is to be determined. The physician will join four subspecialty-trained, board-certified neurologists and collaborate with the neurology attending group to support continuous, 24/7 care delivery.

The position includes leading comprehensive inpatient neurology consultations and developing diagnostic and treatment plans for patients with complex neurological needs. The hospital is a 251-bed facility and a Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, serving a population of approximately 738,000. It is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship training required.
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Physician credentialing from the Maryland Board of Physicians must be obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.

Nice To Haves

• Neuromuscular fellowship training preferred.
• Advanced Life Support certification preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
