Specialty: To ensure timely access to advanced care, LVHN’s Transfer Center coordinates interfacility stroke transfers and is supported by dedicated critical care transport and aeromedical services, enabling rapid movement of high‑acuity patients to the Cedar Crest CSC. Specialty: A dedicated hub of collaboration, innovation, education and research, Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute is a premier destination for care of brain, spine and other neurological and neurosurgical disorders in the region. This position is located in Allentown, PA. This position is week on, week off. The position is primarily daytime and includes in-person neurohospitalist service weeks (primarily at our Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg hospitals) as well as inpatient teleneurology service weeks (covering our rural spoke sites). You will collaborate closely with a highly skilled team of 45+ neurologists representing all of the major subspecialties of neurology and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs). A dedicated hub of collaboration, innovation, education and research, Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute is a premier destination for care of brain, spine and other neurological and neurosurgical disorders in the region. In a Neurology career with LVHN, you'll experience: The Center’s multidisciplinary team, including over 45 neurologists with fellowship training in all major subspecialties of neurology, a neurocritical care service and epilepsy monitoring unit, a large neurosurgical team, neuropsychologists, genetic counselor, neuroradiologists, neurorehabilitation, and social workers. Leading-edge innovation including nationally-recognized multidisciplinary programs in stroke, neuromuscular disease, and epilepsy and state-of-the-art endovascular and functional surgery, among others.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid medical license
  • Must have a valid DEA license
