About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neurohospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their growing neuroscience team at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida. This role involves working alongside a neurohospitalist physician to deliver high-quality inpatient neurological care. The position offers a collaborative practice environment, predictable scheduling, and an exceptional quality of life. As a Neurohospitalist APP, you will manage inpatient neurology patients, conduct consults and follow-up care, respond to floor calls, manage the daily patient census, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for experienced APPs who thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting and are comfortable managing a wide range of adult neurology conditions.

Requirements

Active Florida APRN or PA license
2+ years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurology
2+ years of APP experience in an inpatient or hospital-based setting
Adult-Gerontology and/or Acute Care Certification required
Comfortable managing a wide range of adult neurology patients

Responsibilities

Inpatient neurology consults and follow-up care
Responding to floor calls related to active neurology patients
Actively managing and coordinating daily patient census
Collaborating closely with neurohospitalist physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
