About The Position

Corewell Health is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join their growing neuroscience team serving West Michigan hospitals. This role offers an opportunity to practice in a collaborative, academically engaged, and well-supported environment with a desirable schedule and strong subspecialty support. The position involves a consultative practice model with in-person coverage at two Grand Rapids hospital campuses and teleneurology services to regional hospitals. The role also includes contributing to an academic environment with neurology residents and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Procedures such as lumbar punctures are part of the role, with IR backup available. The environment is resource-rich with advanced imaging, continuous EEG monitoring, and strong support from cardiology and infectious disease departments.

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
• Full Medical License, State of Michigan (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Provide Neurohospitalist care in a consultative practice model.
• Cover two Grand Rapids hospital campuses in person.
• Provide teleneurology services to regional hospitals.
• Contribute to an academic environment with neurology residents.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including hospital medicine, stroke neurology, and subspecialists.
• Perform procedures including lumbar punctures.
• Utilize advanced imaging capabilities and continuous EEG monitoring.
