About The Position
The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join their growing team of employed providers. Corewell Health’s Cancer Center is a collaboration of Corewell Health’s network of hospitals, Corewell Health West Michigan and community providers, specializing in treating complex cancers with innovative, cutting-edge treatments and state-of-the-art programs. The program boasts over 150 board-certified physicians across 17 oncology specialties, robust multispecialty teams, tumor boards, and integrated staff. The position is based out of the Lemmen- Holton Cancer Pavilion on Corewell Health's "Medical Mile" in downtown Grand Rapids, with surgeries performed at Butterworth Hospital across the street. The role involves working with four other physicians and four advanced practice providers in the largest and busiest comprehensive cancer center in West Michigan, with opportunities for academic appointment at Michigan State University.
Requirements
- Doctorate (MD or DO)
- State of Michigan Physician License (MD or DO) Upon Hire
- DEA Registration Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) within 120 days
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by specialty or stress test performed within 120 days
- Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC)
