About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Neurohospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to collaborate with a neurohospitalist physician. This role involves managing daily patient census, seeing consults, and handling floor calls for inpatient neurology patients at Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital. The position offers coverage for inpatient consults, follow-ups, and related patient calls. There is no night call coverage required.
Requirements
- Florida licensure and APRN or PA certification with 2 years’ experience.
- 2 years’ experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurology.
- Adult Gerontology and or Acute Care Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable with seeing a wide range of neurology patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage for inpatient consults.
- Provide coverage for inpatient follow ups.
- Handle calls regarding inpatient neurology patients.
- Manage daily patient census.
