About The Position

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Neurology, is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join a premier, mission-driven team dedicated to delivering the highest quality of patient care. The position welcomes applications from both experienced clinicians and new graduates. In this role, the physician will diagnose and manage a diverse range of acute neurological disorders within the inpatient setting. Physicians enjoy a structured "7 days on/7 days off" schedule, with options for additional shifts or outpatient clinic time available for increased compensation. Candidates also have the flexibility to integrate clinical teaching and research into their practice according to their professional interests. Requirements

MD/DO degree
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency program
Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Neurology
Eligible for medical licensure in both Kansas and Missouri

Responsibilities

Provide care for neurology patients in the inpatient setting.
Diagnose, treat, and manage complex neurological cases within the hospital.
Participate in on-call coverage.
Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through formal instruction and bedside clinical rounds.
Engage in scholarly activity and clinical research.
