About The Position
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist PD is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic studies on infants and children which include monitoring equipment calibration and set-up. Technologists process documentation in order to provide accurate information to the physician.
Requirements
- Minimum three months of direct patient care experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with completion or enrollment of Neurodiagnostic program or experience in an EEG Laboratory
- Ability to work in a team environment with the patience and understanding to work with the pediatric population
- Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
- Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
- Ability to collaborate and accept direction
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
- Ability to think critically
- Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to recall information with accuracy
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Basic Life Support certification
- Registered EEG Technologist
Nice To Haves
- One year of pediatric experience
- Associate degree and completion of an accredited neurodiagnostic program
- Bilingual – English/Spanish
