As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS issued from the American Heart Association
- 6 months experience working in patient care environment, required
Nice To Haves
- EEG experience and or education highly preferred
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.
- Can perform test set up, electrode application, and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.
- Communication skills are essential for this position.
