The Center of Neuroscience and Behavior includes an expert team of neurologists, neurology nurses, social workers and others. They work together to provide children with effective, compassionate care. The team uses the latest techniques and technologies to provide accurate diagnosis and rapid treatment for children with neurological disorders. Advanced neurologic testing available at Children’s National includes Electroencephalogram (EEG) and video electroencephalogram (vEEG), evoked potential and nerve conduction studies. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist role is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures include but not limited to EEG, evoked potential and nerve conduction studies. Interact daily with chronic patients who have epilepsy and their families.
