About The Position

Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Award Winning Cancer Center is seeking a Neuro-Oncologist to join our distinguished team. This role involves providing state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for patients with tumors of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves, incorporating the latest research and treatment options. The position requires participation in ongoing multidisciplinary system-specific conferences to enhance patient treatment safety and effectiveness. The Neuro-Oncologist will monitor patients during ongoing treatments, meet weekly with a multidisciplinary team to review cases, and participate in leading cancer trials, offering patients access to advanced treatments before FDA approval. Additionally, the role includes teaching medical students and housestaff, and serving on departmental and/or hospital committees.

Requirements

BE/BC with excellent clinical training
Residency training in neurology
Fellowship trained in neuro-oncology
Adaptable colleague interested in building the practice and becoming active in the community
Strong interest in clinical research and medical education

Responsibilities

Provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for patients with tumors of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves incorporating the latest research and treatment options.
