Neuro Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
About The Position
United Health Services Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients in Neuro Critical Care at UHS Wilson Medical Center. The role is within the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program, collaborating with and working under the direction of physicians while following established standards and practices. The position is full-time, exempt, and open to experienced clinicians and new graduates. Full-time day or night schedules are available depending on preference; the listed primary shift is day. The regular schedule is 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification, or completion of a physician assistant program.
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- CPR and ACLS certification, maintained throughout employment.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within three months of employment commencement.

- Previous critical care experience, such as ICU or Emergency Department experience.
