About The Position
The A.C.Coy Company is currently hiring for a Network Test Specialist role to support wireless testing projects in Greater Nashville and surrounding areas in TN and KY. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Wireless Testing experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to complete walk tests of up to 1/2 mile, when needed. Our Client will provide paid training, a vehicle to use for work, a gas card, and all the necessary test equipment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Wireless Testing experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to complete walk tests of up to 1/2 mile, when needed
- AS degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience/military service
- Able to utilize a laptop and quickly learn Windows-based testing applications
- Willingness to operate a vehicle 6-7 hours per day and ability to use a GPS for navigation
- Ability to stay in the test region overnight very occasionally with lodging, vehicle, and expenses paid by the company
- Must have a clean criminal and driving background with valid license
- Must be able drive a vehicle leased through Enterprise Car Rental (Can't be on Do-Not-Rent List)
Nice To Haves
- Any work with wireless networks or RF signals
- Experience with mapping
Responsibilities
- Drive test collection, special project testing, and field coordination with Client representatives
- Utilization of various test equipment arrangements, system test receivers, test vehicle and associated laptop computer
- Interaction with other engineering personnel in team oriented environment
