Network Support Technician

This role is responsible for responding to requests for assistance by computer users, which are channeled through the IT Service Center. This includes hardware and software installations, modifications, troubleshooting, and problem resolutions of the components. The technician will work directly with end users, providing excellent customer service skills and timely resolution of tasks assigned. This role also involves installing and configuring desktop applications, client and operating system software, and software upgrades on personal computers. Proper telephone etiquette is also expected.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Three years of related work experience.
- CompTIA: A+ Certification
- Valid Missouri Driver's license and provide his/her own transportation.
- Submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
Responsibilities
- Responding to requests for assistance by computer users, which are channeled through the IT Service Center, including hardware and software installations, modifications, troubleshooting and problem resolutions of the components.
- Working directly with end users, providing excellent customer service skills and timely resolution of tasks assigned.
- Installing and configuring desktop applications, client and operating system software and software upgrades on personal computers.
- Providing proper telephone etiquette.
