About The Position

We are seeking an Entry Level Network Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing essential technical support to our end-users and clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, and a willingness to learn and grow within the IT field.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting skills with server, client, and cloud environments.
• Working knowledge with DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange.
• Proficiency in navigating, deploying, and triaging Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, creating users, mailboxes, distribution and security groups.
• Knowledge of basic networking protocols, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP.
• Knowledge and experience in supporting end-users and non-human devices with remote connectivity software.
• Familiarity with best practices surrounding threat detection software, multi-factor authentication, methods for identifying and reporting potential threats, and resilience against social engineering.
• Willingness to learn specialized in-house software.

Nice To Haves

• A+, Network +, MCP or related certification is desirable.
• 1-2 years of network support experience preferred.
• Background in medical, clinical or diagnostic environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical concepts and terms into clear instructions for end-users and clients, maintaining patience and empathy.
• Diagnose and resolve or escalate reported issues across all computers, printers, mobile devices, and associated peripherals.
• Manage users, groups, and objects within Microsoft Active Directory.
• Perform daily upkeep of Windows domain.
• Support end-users and non-human devices using remote connectivity software.
• Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned.
